Day 1: Aiport - Hanoi - Water puppet show - hotel(No meal)
Pick-up from the airport to our hotel in the morning by a private car
Enjoy a water puppet show in the evening at Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre
One night in Madam Moon Guesthouse (Superior room with city view/ laview)
Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (L,D)
08:00 Pick-up at your hotel and depart for Halong city.
12:00 – 12:15 On arrival at Halong city, you will board on Imperial junk and your are warmly welcomed by professional and friendly crew. Check into cabin.
13:00 Enjoy specially prepared lunch while cruising towards thousands of amazing limestone islands emerging from emerald water, passing by Stone Dog islet, floating fishing village, incense burner islet, fighting cocks islet,…
15:00 visit Surprising Cave – the most beautiful one in Halong Bay.
16:00 Kayaking for an hour or more through slide rock cliffs, exploring under water caves.
17:30 Swimming time, this is great chance to relax in water, take a back flip, somersault.
19:00 Enjoy dinner.
20:30 Evening activities like squid fishing, playing cards or relax at leisure
Day 3: Ha Long Bay – Cat Ba Sandy Beach - Nam Cat Island (B,L,D)
07:30 Breakfast, fruits, coffee and tea will be served. Continue to cruise over the pearl farm to sea real pearl cultivated by local fisherman.
09:30 Take a local boat to Lan Ha Bay & enjoy the view of Lan Ha Bay before arriving Nam Cat Island
12:00 Have lunch on the island & check-in the bungalow
13:30-16:00 Free time for kayaking and many activities in Nam Cat island exploring untouched area in Lan Ha Bay or join the trip to Viet Hai village - biking to visit the village in the valley - located in the middle of Catba national park (The trip to Viet Hai village is optional and not included : Extra USD 5/per for entrance fee, boat trip, tour guide, bike and insurance)
16.30 Come back Nam Cat Island stay in the bungalow & enjoy your free time on the beach
19:00 Buffet dinner at Bungalow, go fishing, relax on the sandy beach, listening to sea wave at very peaceful and quite place.
Day 4: Nam Cat Island - Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (B,L)
07:20 Breakfast served at bungalow
08:00 Pick-up at Bungalow by day boat transfer to the big boat
09:30 Get on the cruise to attend the cooking class while cruising back Halong harbor
11:15 Farewell lunch served on the cruise before you arrive at harbor around 12 and get on the bus back to Hanoi
17:00 Transfer you back to your hotel. The tour ends.
Around 19h30: Hanoi - Overnight train to Laocai
Pick- up from your hotel at about 19:30 to the Tran Quy Cap train station overnight on the train

Day 5: Laocai Train - Sapa Tour Explore 2 Minority & a waterfall - Overnight in 3star hotel near market (B/L/D)
Picked up at Lao Cai Station upon your early arrival for over an hour drive uphill in a shared mini van to Sapa. After freshen up and Breakfast in a local restaurant you will enjoy a walk around this charming town, paying visit to Sapa market and the old cathedral where you can meet a lot of local ethnic minority peoples such as Black H'mong and Red Zao wearing their traditional colorful dresses selling their farming and gathering products and handicrafts for souvenir.
Check in your hotel, having Lunch and noon Break before departing for a walk to two different village it called Cat Cat village and Sin Chai village locating near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Spectacular scenery of mountains and terraced rice paddies changes after every corner as you walk downhill. Getting through Cat Cat village of the H'mong, you will pay visiting to some local homes, witnessing their daily life activities and experiencing their hospitability. Continue walking down to the valley bottom, having a break at a stunning waterfall where the French built a hydraulic power station, you will walk uphill and make a loop around the valley and get back to Sapa and check-in the deluxe room with mountain view at 3star hotel in the centre of the town which is just a minute to the church and market. The rest of the afternoon and evening is at your leisure before having dinner at the hotel.
Day 6: Explore 3 Minority Villages - Overnight in private room in Homestay (B/L/D)
Leaving your hotel after Breakfast, you will walk along the main road heading south for about an hour before turning right to a foot path down hill to Muong Hoa Valley. This part offers spectacular scenery of the highest part of Hoang Lien Son mountain range and in a nice day, Fansipan Peak can be seen. Crossing the river by a suspension bridge you will challenge your feet uphill to Y Linh Ho village. Here you will pay visiting to some H'mong families, watching them doing their daily works. After picnic Lunch, the trail continues up and down hill for about 2 hours as you reach to Lao Chai, a large village of the H'mong. Picnic Lunch and then following the river bank to Ta Van of the Zay people. Paying visiting to local homes, village schools... you will enjoy much your cultural discovery of local ethnic peoples as well as breathtaking scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley. Overnight in private homestay in Tavan Village.
Day 7: Continueous - Overnight train Laocai- Hanoi (B/L/D)
Leaving Ta Van village after Breakfast, you will take the trail uphill, passing fascinating terraced rice field and some small hamlets of the H'mong before getting through a bamboo forest to a waterfall, enjoy a break for magnificent scenery and then continue walking for half an hour to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Zao peoples which sits on the top of a hill and looks down Muong Hoa river. After spending time visiting the village, making friend with the Zao and experiencing the hospitality you will cross the river by another suspension bridge and then uphill again to Hau Thao village where you will pay visiting to a local handicraft center where H'mong and Zao women gather for exchanging experience and skill of making handicrafts. A late Lunch will be prepare here nearby this center and then you have time relaxing as well as getting acquaintance with local school boys, girls and their teachers as well.
Later a short drive will take you back to Sapa, take a shower and enjoy about two hours free time in Sapa before transfer down hill to Lao Cai station to take the overnight train back to Hanoi, which arrives early next morning and the trip ends. Day 8: Arrival Hanoi at about 5:30am - Pick-up to our hotel - 1day trip Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Open your trip ( B/ L)
08:20 Get picked up by our tour guide and bus then depart for Ninh Binh province (90 km south of Hanoi).
10:30 Arrive at Hoa Lu, which is once depicted the ancient capital of Viet Nam, settled up in the 10th century.
11:00 Visit temples of two dynasties of Dinh and Le with a very unique architectures in the old time.
11:30 Visit the excavation area beside the Le Dai Hanh temple. You experience the vestiges of Royal Palaces ground dated back 10th century. Go back to the bus and drive to Tam Coc.

CYCLING RIDE (optional): Those who love to explore real countryside images of Vietnam can proceed a 30 minute cycling ride along country lane (from Tam Coc to Bich Dong Pagoda, estimated time 30 minutes for 5km cycling 2 ways), experiencing the beautiful scenery of lush paddy fields. Finish the cycling ride at Tam Coc dock in time for a buffet lunch in restaurant.
14:00 Board the sampan boats (2 people share a boat) in Tam Coc dock to drift down the river among the villages, mountains and lush rice fields. Passing through 3 caves "Hang Ca - First cave, Hang Hai -Second cave, Hang Ba - Third cave" to get a strange feeling. Boat returns to the dock
16:00 Get on the bus drive back to Hanoi.
18:00 Arrive in Hanoi. Tour ends.
Notes: this tour makes easier for you to finish the trip in Ninh Binh, then get a train from Ninh Binh to Hue or Danang,..., We also can arrange the tickets for you in advance. Or you can come back Hanoi - Open your trip as you want.
Notes: you also can change this 1day trip to Perfume Pagoda or Mai Chau if you have been to Hoa Lu Tam Coc already and do not want to do the same thing. The total costs are the same.
